Hello! My name is Byeong-Ho Bahn. I am an Assistant Teaching Professor at School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences(SoMMS) at Arizona State University. Before joining ASU, I was a lectuerer in the department of mathematics and statistics at University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Ph.D in Mathematics, University of Massachusetts Amherst, May 2025

M.S in Computer Science, University of Massachusetts Amherst, Feburary 2025

M.S in Mathematics, Texas Tech University, 2018

B.S in Mathematics, Kangwon National University, 2015

B.S in Science Education[concentration in Physics], Kangwon National University, 2015

My research lies in the mathematical analysis of Partial Differential Equations(PDEs) and in numerical methods mainly machine-learning. Especially, my first two papers are focusing on providing the theoretical guarantee of using deep operator neural network and quasi Monte Carlo method for nonlinear PDE problems. The two papers dealt with the analysis of parametric PDEs with countably many parameters. I am also interested in PDE analysis of nonlinear eigenvalue problem.
